Q-Organic Wins Award at NPS For Most Unique Product of The Year

Q-Organic won the Award for “The Most Unique Product 2015,” at the Nordic Organic Food Fair, November 1-2 in Malmö, Sweden. The Peruvian raw organic cacao nibs with yacon syrup introduced by the Danish firm stood out in a field of strong competition. Industry visitors and experts attending the fair were asked to vote for the most innovative and outstanding products from the natural and organic industry on display.

“It is a

great honor to win the prize for the most unique product at a fair where there are so many interesting products,” said Marisol Gamarra, co-founder of Q-Organic. The taste of the cacao nibs, which are rich in antioxidants, sweetened with yacon syrup, which is prebiotic, caught the visitors’ attention. “We chose the cacao from Satipo, (Peru) because it’s low bitterness offered a perfect match with yacon syrup that has a round taste, ” Ms. Gamarra said.
